Forest Areas and Green Spaces
Canal Istanbul Project region will be provided with a total area of 91.24 million m2, including a new forest area of 4.67 million m2 and a regional green space and playfields of 86.5 million m2. It is much bigger than the areas affected by the construction of the Canal.
